Dear mid-60s Buick caregivers,
Biquette always has been a part of the family and that leads to some unexpected situations. Since she doesn't go out in the rain if possible, the other cars in the house do. So this spring, Biquette was the last car to get a springtime wash and wax. I didn't manage to finish her until Tuesday. Yesterday was the first chance she had to get out since getting all cleaned and shined up. So I took my camera and took a few photos. Here is one against this structure in a nearby town that looks old enough to be from the 1960s:

The building turns out to be the
Moraga "barn." Sure is the nicest looking barn I've seen in a long time!

Having a soft spot for California Poppies, I took this photo next to a group growing in a neighbor's yard:

After all, Biquette is a California girl!

With the Memorial day weekend approaching, surely some other mid-60s Buicks have come out of hibernation. Next time you get your classic Buick out, don't forget your camera!

Cheers, Edouard
