Loren , you couldn't have said it any better ! It's an illness and I have it pretty bad . ( along with many of the folks on this board ) LOL
Chuck , that rescue mode has had a tendency to get the best of me . Some people rescue pets , well I guess i rescue iron .
Kevin , first off just so I clear myself, I have NEVER smoked weed or will I . But i was watching one of cheech and chongs movies and seen a 65 skylark in it .
So I did go look at another 65GS that Mark Ascher tipped me off on and it was right up my alley . The last thing I really need is another project BUT it was one of those cars that is rare enough that I couldn't, say no .
I don't have many pictures yet as I have not picked it up yet , going to get it after labor day .
I really want to say a BIG THANKS to Mark A. for turning me onto this car .
So the details I have so far is its a 65GS convertible born in Astro blue with white top and interior and also ( the reason I couldn't say no ) is its another factory 3 speed car . Why I like the 3 speeds is beyond me but OH WELL .
This car is all apart and in pieces so it truly is a basket case . Theres a few hard to find parts missing but most of them are there .
I'll start a separate thread in the project and restorations thread after we drag her home with more photos .
