The 1/4 glass has upper and lower inboard and outboard axis, as well as the for and aft, and up and down.
Sort of like the three axis of flight. Roll, Pitch and Yaw.
Combined, you have quite a bit that can get out of whack, and going slow is the ticket.
Now, I have a convertible (1964) with the top down, front doors off, no seats and the door and rear interior trim panels off, it was still a bear to get them straight.
I had pulled them out to clean, and lube all the rollers and tracks and then reassemble everything.
You really need the chassis manual that deals with the adjustment to know what wheel screws to turn which direction and what order of adjusting them.
It's algebra and order of operations is key.
I did not have the manual, but found the steps online but I failed to bookmark them, so I cannot help with that.
