Dear Iain, Ronnie, Jerry, and mid-60s Buick owners who like to drive!

The rain should be long gone in your parts of CA.  Hopefully you'll have a little time to get Ruthy out to play!

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

YUP! Just took her out for a good long drive, my favorite kind, through windy roads about 50-60mph. She is running good. My engine is nothing to brag about, probably makes 250HP, but with my updated suspension and good rubber she is a real pleasure to drive.
Though I must say my sore back could really use some lumbar support. :sad1:

Edouard what's going on with your engine? Any progress yet?

Sounds like fun! Some people have ad good luck changing to Procar seats and they almost match the 65 interiors.

Dear Iain, Jim, and mid-60s Buick lovers, . . .  :love4:

. . . . .  What!?!?  No pics!!  Next time don't forget to bring your camera! . . . . . . .

My engine is nothing to brag about, probably makes 250HP . . .

There are ways to surpass that!!! . . .

but with my updated suspension and good rubber she is a real pleasure to drive.

Updating the suspension is definitely a good idea.  I'm going to have some of that done when Biquette gets her new tires and rear end.  The roads are getting so bad around here it is basically a requirement.

Though I must say my sore back could really use some lumbar support. :sad1:

Not sure what to tell you on that.  Just having Biquette's seats repaired and reupholstered made a huge difference.

Edouard what's going on with your engine? Any progress yet?

No word since last report.  I suspect the Easter holiday is increasing TA-Performance sales and that is once more squeezing their free time.  I'm not ready for the engine's return anyway, so it is no problem, but I thought I could touch base next week just to see what's up.

Glad Ruthy got to play!

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

Dear Iain and mid-60s Buick owners who stroll down memory lane,

Dug up a couple photos from when I first got her, year 2000.
Complete with 14" pizza cutters and *oldsmobile* hubcaps.

Thanks for sharing!   Isn't it amazing how much sharper images have gotten in just 18 years?  I see that Ruthy had her original black California license plates.  Were you able to keep them or not?

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:
