Wedding day!
« on: January 08, 2016, 11:20:56 AM »
Hey guys. Thought you'd enjoy some buick pics. The wife and I finished up are thank you cards finally from are wedding in October. So I decided to post a few pics of my 66's. I know there not 65s but they still have the good old 401's. In are engagement pics we used my 66 Gs hardtop, wedding was my 66 special and the thank you cards was my 66gs convert. I'm pretty lucky and found a car girl. Now I just need to build her a 66 Buick wagon. Lol.

Congratulations !

A '65 Gran Sport isn't required to come here and play, it's just where it all started.

Dear Dan, Jim, Loren, and mid-60s Buick fans,

The wife and I finished up are thank you cards finally from are wedding in October. So I decided to post a few pics of my 66's.

. . . You let a little thing like writing thank you notes keep you from posting Buick pics? . . . . .

I know there not 65s but they still have the good old 401's. In are engagement pics we used my 66 Gs hardtop, wedding was my 66 special and the thank you cards was my 66gs convert.

. . . Hmm, there appears to be common pattern here . . . .  :laughing7:

I'm pretty lucky and found a car girl. Now I just need to build her a 66 Buick wagon. Lol.

Now you're talking!!  Just make sure that wagon is suitably . . . . assertive!!

. . . Alright, alright . . . you can built that wagon with a Nailhead, but I think your car-girl might be disappointed a little if she really craves horsepower and torque!! . . .

Seriously congratulations once more and hope you do build that wagon of your shared dreams!!

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

Congrats to you both!  I'm sure you won't find anyone here that disrespects a 66 GS.  Just ask Walt!!   :icon_thumright:

Wow, love the 66 pictures. My friend Rob that is doing the body on my 66, did a 66 GS for another Rob, and he drove it to his high school reunion, that was what he had in high school, cool.

Thank you guys! Glad you like all  the pics.  The 65-66 Gs's are the best looking Buicks in my opinion. My dad always had 65 Gs's so I had to get 66's so he wouldn't steal  all my parts.  Haha. Or maybe that was his plan. Talk me into 66's so I would t take his. Lol.

Walt and Dr, class of 77 here. Continuously owned 66 GS since 1975 also. 401 3 speed started it all. Still have it but it's a parts car now for the other three 66's.

Couple of more pictures. The last two pics are from are honeymoon. Put 300 miles on the old girl with no issues. Considering I had put the new engine in a week before the wedding.

Dear Dan and mid-60s Buick fans of pictures of nicer weather . . .

Thanks for sharing those photos of autumn!  Glad your "old girl" performed so well!  . . . . Although, perhaps you should be more diplomatic about such things.  Maybe you should call her a "mature lady!" . . . .  :evil6:

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:
