Yeah, 97 in Green Bay. Dew point was 76. What ever happened to spring ? Geez, you'd think we lived in Kansas City.

95 here today however I'm not complaining and I'll take it over the two months of straight rain we just came out of.

At least I'm finally getting my Spring time yard work done and the house is beginning to look normal again.

Out here in California we seem to be stuck in winter.  Of course, winter out here is cloudy and 60 degrees, but we are way below normal in temperature, and above normal in rain and snow.  This weekend we had an outdoor party for my younger son's Little League baseball team, and nobody was interested in a water balloon fight outside because it was too cold.

Here in Northern California we have had an extended winter with a week of spring a few weeks ago. It has gotten downright depressing because it has been cloudy and wet way too long. Yesterday was better and today looks sunny, I just hope the clouds don't return. And yard work, killed weeds a few months ago (roundup) and now I have to do it all over again. This takes me all day when I could be working on my 65! No choice, the fire hazard is so great if I don't that I can't avoid that task. And allergies, wow been to doctor three time this spring.

Guys, don't take this personally but I don't think any Californians are going to get much pity around here from those of us that live in Ohio, Minnesota, Iowa and Kansas areas...   :laughing7:

So Wednesday the temp drops all day to around 60 or so by sunset.
40 degrees cooler in less than 24 hrs. I just checked, and it's 53 right now!

Actually, here in LA, we have four seasons.  Fire, Flood, Earthquake and Riot. :overthetop:

I spent three weeks in LA after Katrina hit and learned what "love bugs" are.  It's crazy how they pair together to make one big bug and they really mess up the front end of a car.    :confused3:

I have a buddy that lives in Alexandria (Pineville actually) and he always calls me on New Years to tell me he's mowing his yard for the first time of the year.

He's in the 'other' LA.... in Calli.
I visited New Orleans a few times for music festivals. Fell in love with the music, the arts, and the history.....but I don't think I could take the hot, humid summers. I never went to Calli tho.... Much of it sounds like paradise, but apparently there are some downsides such as cost of living and those wildfires and earthquakes!

Here in eastern Pa, we experience 4 seasons. But lately, we seem to skip Fall and Spring.

Ok.. I'm feeling like an idiot now.   :tard:

When you said LA, Los Angeles didn't even dawn on me although we was talking about California.

I'm in Georgia next week and Penn. the week after and then Las Vegas a couple weeks after that, so I'll get a little taste of weather across the country.  The last time I was in Vegas during July I about melted.  I wanted to smack everyone that said it was "a dry heat".

The way I look at it, my oven is also a dry heat and I sure as heck wouldn't want to climb in there at 103 degrees.   :violent5:

Chris, where in Penn? I'm between Philly and Allentown.
I've been to Vegas when it was 112 deg. .....much more comfortable than 90% humidity and 90 degrees here in Pa.
Maybe it's just psychological....I did a mountain bike ride today and came home drenched in my own sweat.
Bugs seem to like the humidity as well. Are there bugs in Vegas? Dan???

Walt.. I'll be further up North near Scranton visiting one our paper plants in Mehoopany.

As for the heat in Vegas, it's a good thing they have air conditioning which is free with the drinks if you play Black Jack in the Casinos.    :glasses9:
