Fastest Full Bodied "NailHead"
« on: October 10, 2010, 07:34:16 PM »
I know this is a '65 forum, but it's still "NailHead" related. Don't know if any have heard or mentioned anything about Bob Quigg's '66 Skylark GS. Last week Sept.30 & Oct. 1 I think we set the all time WORLD record for a Full Bodied, ALL Steel, "NailHead" powered GS at a 10.864ET @124.93MPH. What a BLAST!!!! I knew the "Ole" "Nail" had it in her. This car is still registered & "CAN" be street driven within reason. Also, Bob made it to the finals with a 4 way. WAY TO GO!!!!!!
