Hi Everyone
« on: September 26, 2010, 10:13:02 PM »
I just found your site and wanted to say hi to everyone.  I'm a big Buick fan!  Right now I have two Buicks, a 1985 Turbo Charged Regal T-Type and a 2002 Supercharged Regal GS, although I have had a couple 1965's in my past and I look forward to the day that I get another one.  In the photo you can see my T-Type in the middle, on the left is the '65 Skylark convertible and on the right is the '65 Special, which my grandparent purchased new.  I've posted a video on YouTube to honor my Grandma's car, if your are interested, here is the link:

Great looking Buicks !  Welcome to the site , Is your Special Verde Green with a Fawn interior and does it have a V6 ?  If so It's just like mine.  My Special was purchased as a trade in  by my Grandparents in the Spring of 1966.
And so far it has only 68,000 miles.. keep in touch.

Thanks! I don't know the actural names of the paint and interior but Verde Green and Fawn sound right.  Every time I got a parking ticket, the police always called the car Black!  Yes, both of my '65's had the 225 V6, with the 2-speed auto.  Good little engine, and I loved kickin' er down into the passing gear!  I attached a couple more pic's, including one of my grandma behind the wheel in 1965.
