Parting Out A Black Plate 65
« on: October 25, 2008, 01:27:42 AM »
I'm buying a Black Plate 65 Skylark Sedan from California.

The car appears really clean and I'll have a bunch of extra parts to sell from her after I part it out.

I'm basically keeping the body from the firewall back and the rest of the car is to be sold off.

Any takers on the following:

Complete rolling frame (super clean) with 300 CID engine and 2 speed tranny.

Skylark fenders

Hood

Trunk Lid

Rust free Sedan (Post) doors - When is the last time you checked the bottom of yours?   ;D

Halo trim

Bench Seat

Rear Seat

Front Bumper

Grille - Typical pitting

Parking light assemblies - Buckets and sockets

Taillights and center medalion are spoken for.

Fender Spears - Skylark

Door side trim

Quarter panel side trim

Spinner hubcaps

I think that might do it for now...  ???

What color is the rear seat? And does it have the type that goes from panel to panel or is it the type that has a rear molded out arm rest, inturn making the seat a little narrower?

Joe,

I'll try to get down to the shop in the next couple of days and take some pictures of it.

Chris,

What is the condition of the trunk lid? How about a front bumper?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Guys.. these are all parts from the post car I'm thinking of using for the Reynolds project.

So far, it's looking like I'll need most of the car for parts to make the project happen.

Thanks,

Chris

Sorry everyone, I never updated this.

This car was sold last month and now lives in New Hampshire with her new owner.

Thanks,

Chris
