60 Years since the 65 Gran Sport

The Buick GS Nationals will be celebrating the 60 year anniversary of the 1965 Gran Sport at the event in Bowling Green, KY. The dates are May 14-17, 2025. All Buicks are welcome again of course but there will be special emphasis on the 65 GS and other 1965 Buick models. We are planning to drive our 65 GS down to the event. Who else can make it? We are not getting any younger, now is the time to drive our favorite cars!

Thanks for the announcement!  Unfortunately as for me and my trusty wagon, We are not quite ready yet to make 2,300 mile road trip!

Hopefully, there will be a good turnout from those 1965 Buick owners who aren't quite so far away!

I will be bringing my 65 GS 4-speed convertible again this year but I also going to bring a 65GS hardtop that I inherited from my friend that has owned it since he was sixteen. He passed away last April he would have been 65 this last week.
Like Jim said we aren?t getting any younger.

    I will have to sit this one out ! I will be welding the Red Coupe back together this Spring, plus our local Buick Club will be celebrating it's 50th anniversary as a chapter of the BCA. So we are planning a special show for Memorial weekend 2025. I will be at the Albany, NY Show in 2026.
