Sportwagon parts

There is a 65 sportwagon for sale cheap and I was thinking of it as a parts car and an engine bay / transmission hump to fabricate mounts for a nailhead and whatever transmission I hook up to it when I have the cash for that project and the rest of the car is upgraded.
The car has a 4 barrel 300 in it and I figured that I could get a good core engine plus I could take the 4 barrel manifold and put it on my 65 but the part I'm not sure of in my figuring the value of immediate parts I can use is the rear end.
Is the station wagon rear end a heavier duty rear end than what comes in the skylark or is it the same one?
I think the Skylark rear end is heavy enough to make into a posi that will hold up fine when the engine is upgraded, but if the wagon has a stronger rear end so much better. I know the brakes are suppose to be bigger but that's not a big deal since I could upgrade my brakes if I wanted.

The GS and Sportwagon rears use the larger HD wheel bearings, RW507-A. It might have steeper gears in it too.
Center section would be the same one used in plain Skylark, GS, or Wagon.

Thanks for the info! I think I'm going to call the guy and ask a few questons, like does he have a title.
Just my luck the body would be too nice to part out. I would love to have a sportwagon!
