Another 66 Gran Sport
« on: April 08, 2024, 05:43:46 PM »
We picked up a Verde Green 66 GS convertible recently. Now working on a few odds and ends but also cruising in it. The car has a TH 400 in it, AC, PW, AM/FM radio. Was originally buckets and console, now a split black bench. I might change it back if I can find some 66 buckets. Let me know if you know of any!

I was not a fan of the whitewalls with the Keystones so I had them turned inside. Also found a screw in one of the tires while doing this. I prefer raised white letters but need to use up these tires first. Next up is fixing the kickdown and addressing a transmission leak.

Glad it's shaping up for you, Jim. Any of those tire options, including redlines, will look good!

Much better!
I like RWL too. You can get custom letters to stick on your blackwalls.
Redlines are my favorites, but they're so damn expensive.
What size tires are they? They look tall.
