Giving thanks for prayers
« on: November 15, 2023, 07:29:08 PM »
Today was an epic day!
Some of you are aware of my diagnosis six years ago of Multiple Myeloma. It changed many things in my life for sure but with all your prayers and a fantastic oncologist, today, I received the news that I am in remission. What an overwhelming feeling.

  God is good!

Amen! As we age we see more evidence of the power of prayer. And many of us need it more than ever! Great news, Loren!

That is very good news?and glad to hear you have a doctor you are pleased with. The power of prayer is not to be messed with in a highly artificial environment. Maybe you can get back in alignment with some smaller issues like that wagon that we have not seen lately. When things get overwhelming we tend to let them take over our every thought and that?s when it gets tough. You must be feeling like you just tossed that ball back to the Atlas Shrugged corner to hold onto.
We don?t always think about everything in context to the point, but I was just thinking about a girl from my third grade class yesterday. She was in front of everyone explaining how her dad taught her how to swim over the weekend. She was scared to death because she knew she would likely drown. After a lengthy explanation in the form only a third grade girl could duplicate?..she ended the whole story with Praise God I was swimming like a fish.

Many thanks to all my Buick kin.
I am so very fortunate to be blessed with such good family and friends that keep me in their thoughts and prayers.

I praise God for His blessings, even when they are hard to see.
