Thanks to Jim in Wisconsin
« on: October 26, 2023, 07:26:52 PM »
A Big Thanks to Jim in Wisconsin for parting out that blue 65 Skylark and offering to sell the parts to our members. Because of Jim's generosity I was able to solve Three problems, I needed a left door lock for the Red GS project. The package arrived yesterday, I quickly degreased it and lubed it and installed it ! Now the door locks properly. I also needed a lower left door hinge for the Code Z hardtop plus Jim offered to cut whatever panels I needed to repair the roof rot on Code Z. I sent Jim photos of the areas I needed and the box of sheet metal parts arrived yesterday. (see photo) All these problems were solved by Jim..

Helping each other is what it is all about. :cheers2:          Tony

This is one of the reasons to keep forums up and running. It is getting continually more difficult to find the parts for repair and restoration.
With the low activity and cost to host it, there are days I wonder if 65GS.com is worth it but then here is an example of why.

Thank you, Jim, for the help to Tony and myself,
