Thermostat Housing Needed
« on: September 13, 2022, 07:10:05 PM »

Hi Guys.   I am hopeful that somebody might have a thermostat housing they would be willing to sell me.  Mine is chewed up pretty bad.  One of the pits looks like it might
actually breach in the not-to-distant future if I were to try to put it back on. Please send me a PM if you have a decent one you're willing to part with.  Thanks!

Rob,
It is reproduced, if you can't come up with a good used one. CARS, Inc shows it in their Big car catalog in group 1. It is listed as "water outlet", part number WO626
Russell Martin at Centerville Auto Repair also has both the cast style and the billet style. The cast style part number is THO-4. Lists for $20.

Thanks Loren.  I guess that will be my fallback if i can't find an original.  If anyone has an original lying around i would be much obliged.

Rob,

I just went out to the shop to see if I had any extra water outlet neck. I found a couple of them.

Hi Loren & Rob. I also have a water outlet that I can part with. It has been blasted and painted nailhead green. If you want it send me a PM.

Thanks for the reply Tony.  Looks like Loren and I will be able to hook up in person in a couple of weeks.   But I do appreciate you checking.
