Getting closer to working on the 65 GS
« on: September 10, 2022, 10:28:34 PM »
I promised my wife I would finish the 66 special before I started another project. That means no work on the 65 until the 66 is done. This last week I took vacation and stayed home and worked on the Buick. It's getting close and all that needs to be done before I can start it is transmission cooler lines, drive shaft and exhaust. Today I managed to pick up a nice set of wheel vintiques steel wheels for less than half the cost new.

Congratulations on the progress Bob!

The Buick hub caps make an interesting contrast with those tires!

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Edouard. The project has been ongoing for 2 years now. Looking forward to finishing it. I've been buying parts for the 65 here and there and I'm looking forward to tinkering on it.

Good progress Bob!  Nice work on the 66 and happy to hear your "itch" to start on the 65.  Keep the updates coming!
