I don't know if you were able to reach my friend Bill. If you have this part or pieces that can even glue together...Bill can 3D scan the part and print some for you. I think his printer is 12x12x24. I'm guessing a high durometer TPU material or something similar. I've never had a '65 with and automatic so I don't know what these look like in person.
The other option is to scan the part or have someone draw the part in Solidworks then send to the file to Protomold or someone similar for an aluminum prototype tool. Not sure which is less costly, depends on how many you make.
I do have a couple of engineer friends that could draw the part in CAD if you want to go that route.
