Body mounts
« on: April 25, 2022, 08:49:30 PM »
Hi Buick Fans,
I'm looking to buy new body mounts in preparation for placing my car back together.
I've been communicating with one stop chevy shop they have a kit however it doesn't seem to have the rubber pugs that are fitted near the diff.
I can see on the car body there are cage nuts to fit a mount they just wont used from factory, (plugs used instead)
My questions are,
Can anyone point me to a supplier who has the exact kit I need.
Is it ok to fit a body mount instead of the plug.
My car is booked into the mechanic shop to start the motor on Thursday, I'm sort of excited and anxious at the same time.
Marcus

. . . .

Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to your question, but I hope one of the resident experts will get back to you that.

I certainly understand your feelings!  Best of luck in getting your rebuilt motor finally turning some revs!   :icon_thumright:
