Nice! How tall is the battery case? Seems like new ones you buy at the parts store are all too short for the factory hold down holes, even though they are listed as the correct group number.

Dear Jim, Jim, and mid-60s Buick caregivers who need to charge up every now and then,

Finally getting through some health issues.

I can definitely sympathize!  Hope the road continues to be onward and upward!

Finally got my reproduction battery. Took 5 months. Come on Spring, got lots of work to do.

Hmm, never heard of Jim's Battery MFG.  Is this the outfit that you got it from:

Jim's Battery Manufacturing Co
602 W Rayen Ave,
Youngstown, OH 44502
(800) 426-7580

According to Google there isn't a website for this company.

Certainly a beautiful reproduction!

Thanks for sharing!

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

Battery measures approximately 8" high x 10" wide ? 7" deep. I ordered it from the site listed in 65 Parts Sources posted here. Looks like they are a distributor.
