Towing
« on: December 25, 2021, 09:00:24 PM »
Guys,
I bought a 24' Enclosed Trailer to haul my 65 GS. Looking for advice on best way to tie it down. See lots of opinions out there. The trailer has 4 D-Rings. Thinking axle straps to rear axle and lower control arms. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Jim

I liked axle straps when I used to haul my drag car. And then also a strap on the front and the rear. I had an open trailer.

I installed E track in my enclosed trailer. I run the straps on the rear axle and through the front lower control arms. I also cross the straps. Never had an issue with the car moving.
