mothers day gift
« on: July 09, 2021, 03:43:49 PM »
New member. First thank-you Loren for the kick down switch for my 67.  Second, a 65' GS, four speed was a mothers day gift for my 87 year old mom. The video and pics are great. Mom behind the wheel reving the motor with her cane standing outside the door. Would be a great marketing photo if Buick ever created the next sexy hot rod for future generations! Do not use Passport transport as a carrier, the driver likes to intimidate 87 year old ladies.

What Lamar isn’t telling, is that he is now the proud owner of a ‘65 GS that many of us are a little familiar with.
Tell us more Lamar, inquiring minds want to know. I second Chuck’s request for pictures.

Sorry about no replies, have not checked the site out for a little while. Am capable of oral surgery but incapable of posting pics. My nephew will be back from vacation soon and he can get some pics to see, also maybe  a cool video of the previous owner at a car show with a certain car enthusiast and also a  real cool video of mom and her getting the car. Also got some very nice pics of my resto of a 67' skylark  (twice)....got mom and dad in them...was able to get  some final pics with him before he passed .

Thank-you for posting that. I am new to the board and did not know that existed. Mom will like that. She had one of my friends trimming the shrubs today and she made a point to tell me to show him "the car". She made me take more pics of it as she thinks it is beautiful. It's a pleasure to be here with such serious, good people.
