Hi folks,
I put a parts wanted for this but thought I'd check if anyone has dealt with having to replace their steering shaft? I had mine snap clean, just above the lower bearing, while I was pulling the car out of the garage. I'd heard a little rubbing in the column prior to this but it didn't sound bad enough to make the time to investigate yet. Luckily my delaying a fix didn't have more serious consequences. Anyway, I'm seeing that Borgeson has shafts for similar year GM "A" bodies but not one listed for the Skylark. Do any other manufacturers share the same steering assembly, maybe 442 or? As always, any help appreciated.
