Two thoughts. Go big and put it on wheels. I bought one from Bad Boy Blaster (EBay) Cleveland Ohio Front and side loading with three blasting functions. Hose, stationary or fixed blasting and set up for external blasting. There bulky and heavy when loaded with sand so wheels are a big plus.
https://badboyblasters.com/product/sandblasting-cabinet-bb-1050xld-fl/I built an extension that mounts on the end to do things up to six feet long. When not in use the extension hangs on the wall and tends to become a storage cabinet. Lighting always seems to be an issue in these cabinets, I added light to this one.
When I added the wheels I developed an issue with static discharge. Unfortunately the discharge was from the lower frame area where I leaned against the cabinet, directly to ... yep, right where the manhood meet the box. I installed a bonding wire to ground to eliminate the problem.
