65 skylark door panel
« on: July 19, 2020, 11:42:08 PM »
Still looking for a decent shape driver's interior door panel, 2 door coupe. Looked everywhere, one came up on eBay as a set but was ripped. I just need the vinyl part, any color.

I'm always confused with coupe , hardtop and 2 door sedan.

Are you referring to a 2 door that has a frame around the window?  (post car)

No sir, I believe it was called the 'Sport Coupe'. There is a no post. However, door panel should be the same.

You can buy these new. But you would need the top metal part to rivet &  glue onto the new panel.

I have a pair of these in a box that I bought years ago they are pretty nice..

These are 2 door Sedan (post car) panels. They fit into a top chrone channel that gets mounted on to the door.

Thank you for that. My bad - they are different. Mine have the horizontal di-electric pleats and carpet at the bottom.
I can buy those new too, but since the pass is good I thought if I could find a driver I can paint everything and save some money.
