Halo Trim Clips
« on: June 09, 2020, 03:12:46 PM »
Hey guys,

I just searched though the "Trim & Chrome" section, but didn't find an answer. Does anyone know of a source for the clips to secure halo trim to its brackets? I have attached a pic, if it helps. I believe these are very specific and might not be reproduced. I have a complete set, but a couple are rusted through. If someone has some extras they would be willing to sell, please PM me.

Thanks!
Sean

Don’t believe they are repopped! Used on the 64-65 Buick’s not sure if they were used on any other GM product! I might have a few good used ones!? Let me check!

Auveco is one of the largest molding clip suppliers out there. Maybe they have something:

Unfortunately, the belt reveal molding clip doesn't look like it will work, but I did email AuVeCo with an inquiry. If they have the clip, I will definitely post the part number!

Thanks guys!

I tried looking it up in the parts book here on 65gs.com ..... it's in the 'Documentation' section:
http://65gs.com/documentation/

I think it's in group 12.075 (page 699) and group 12.121 (page 706). Pn is 4432000 and 4491311. Can someone confirm?
Supplying the original pn to Auveco may help them locate it.

That parts catalog is a great resource that I didn't realize we had! I'll try giving those part numbers to AuVeCo. Thanks, Walt!

Here is a clip that looks close. Since I'm still stuck in Florida and my parts are back in Nebraska I don't have one to compare to.

Those do look very close! I put them on the watch list & will order a batch if I can?t come up with the real thing. It?s worth a try for 11 bucks! Thanks, Loren!
