RIP Auto Restorer Magazine
« on: February 23, 2020, 08:58:41 PM »
I was Just opening my mail from yesterday and came across a envelope from Auto Restorer Magazine, I opened it and to my surprise It was a form letter addressed in my name stating that Lumina Media the parent company of Auto Restorer will be dissolved as of February 1st 2020. Wow what a shock ! I've been a subscriber since the 90s .
It was one of the best automotive DIY publications with well written how to articles on just about anything relating to vintage vehicles. Plus Current events and book reviews. I never trashed a copy I always passed it along to my friends in the hobby and they would pass copies of old cars weekly back to me...
Auto Restorer you will missed in this garage   :sad1:

This is happening more and more, as people stop reading hard copy magazines and instead are relying on electronic reading. A few right off the top of my head, Hemmings Sports Cars, Autoweek, Automobile.  Sure there are going to be more of this going forward.
