Reynolds 1965 Gran sport
« on: November 28, 2019, 07:44:54 AM »
What tire was used on the track for this car, and did they upsize to 15 inch from 14?
Gotta get it done!

I have a letter from Lenny “Pop” Kennedy I can repost that describes all his tricks and tips. In the letter he says 14” rim 28” diameter 7” wide tires for rear.

Hey Dan, thanks, for info, I’d love to see that letter posted for review, I’m finding myself straying some from a true Tribute car, but want final product finished to reflect the era and Buick’s remarkable unique history. All my previous restorations were original builds, now I’m actually getting creative! Fuels my interest big time!
Gotta get it done!

Interesting thread....
Thought I would add a bit to it. I have a fair amount of '65 GS parts and a ton of info on the Reynolds' Gran Sport. Some of that info has already been shared here.

Yup, that's the letter I got from Pete Reynolds.
