 In search of some manual clutch parts for a '65 GS. I have outlined the parts I need to put the GS post car back to a manual transmission .

Does anyone have an extra pedal rod that they could take a pic with measurements? I have some extra Buick parts that are supposedly mid 60?s but I do not have my car here to compare. I am pretty sure those are 65-6 GS only and I can?t remember if it is longer or shorter than skylark. The part I do remember is the pedal end is 5/16 and the cross shaft end is 3/8.

    I remember now what I did. I sold the ONLY one that was correct with a trans before I finished my car. The ones I have left are too long. Back to the search Loren....If you cant find one I will make another one. It was easier than it should have been. It may be the same case for the adjuster if you can locate the correct ends it can be duplicated.

So, I recently purchased what I thought to be the correct rod. Unfortunately, when compared to a tracing that Chuck did for me, it is short about 3".
 A number of years ago, I picked up a clutch rod at a swap meet. The seller thought it was from a Chevy but wasn't sure. I dug the "Chevy" piece out and compared it to the tracing from Chuck and it matches up to the tracing. I still am not certain if the rod I have come across is a Buick piece or not but I think it will do the job.
 Here's a picture of Chuck's tracing and the rod I have.

Definitely looks like it should work and may even be the right one. I don?t remember non Buicks having different size ends. You still will want to weld up the small end and grind back to correct size where it is wore down. I had to do that on mine also before it broke off completely. The clevis  style adjustment ends should be easier to find to make an adjuster.

My clutch rod for the 3 speed set-up is very similar in construction to what you show but is only 12" center to center in length. The tracing you show is 14 3/4". On my clutch rod, the long section is the same 7 3/4" to the bend, then the other section is only 4 1/4". Not sure if 3 speed is different than 4 speed.

 Interesting! Hmmm.
 I recently purchased another one from Russel Martin. It is shorter than the tracing from Chuck and the one I found at a swap meet some years ago. I don't see a reason for a difference whether it is used for a
3 speed vs a 4 speed. The clutch travel action would be the same.

Sooo....
 I got curious and looked in my Buick parts books. What I found is that the '65-'66 GS is all by itself for many of the clutch operating parts.
 The rod that I've been incorrectly referring to as the upper rod is in reality, by Buick, called 
 " ROD, CL, OPR]". Or in English Rod, Clutch, Operating. lol
 Its part number is Gr. 0.854 P/N 1373012.
 The adjustment portion of the clutch linkage is made up of 3 parts.
 There is an upper rod [the female threaded portion]. The lower rod [the male threaded portion] and a nut.
 Part numbers are as follows.
 Upper Rod Gr. 0.787 P/N 1373020
 Lower Rod Gr. 0.787 P/N 1373022
 Nut     Gr. 7.348 P/N 1365067
 Seeing this from the Buick parts book, I'd have to say that there is only supposed to be one length piece for the Clutch Operating Rod.
 Now which is correct? I have no idea what so ever. lol

That is strange. Mine came out of a Flint built car, if that helps. I would assume each plant procures their own parts. I can't explain why the lengths would be different. There is only about 1 3/4" of adjustment in the lower threaded rod.
