Mystery leftovers help
« on: September 16, 2019, 07:41:38 AM »
I’m certain these are part of my 65gs restoration but find no reference to them in parts books. Anyone help on this? Bolt holes are large so think must use clips?
Gotta get it done!

Look like inner fender splash shields. On the bottom rear of the inner fender you should find two corresponding holes. Mount with nuts and bolts.

Something like these from my '64? They list them in the shop manual, yet no one has ever seen them in use! These resemble braces, but my '72 has something more akin to a splash shield in the same general area.   Bill

Bingo, thanks gents. I bought a 65 Buick body manual repro, very nice book to have but yet to find a reference on these shields.
