I was definitely unaware of this subtlety of our Buicks.  There is always something new around here and I'm glad to be learning!

Yeah Ed... those cross bars tend to stiffen up that core support due the diagonality (!) of the design..   ws

Yes the weight of a four core GS radiator and a/C parts hanging off the core support is very heavy compared to a small v6 with no options!
