FYI,
There is a very nice 1965 Skylark steering wheel listed for sale on the antique auto forums.
Not mine, I just noticed the posting today.

Dear Bill and mid-60s Buick caregivers,

Is this it? Kinda rich. Ill hafta repair mine. At least the rim isnt cracked. I hafta ask; is this really what they are worth?

Unfortunately these steering wheels are very unusual and yes they are rare.  There is one on eBay that is more pricey.  If you want to have your steering wheel repaired, you might want to have a look at this thread:

You can't take advantage of the original group purchase, but you could call they do seem to be give 65GS.com members something of a discount.

Yes, the 64-66 wheels are spendy as most used ones are in tough shape or worse.

I have repaired a number of steering wheels in the last several years, including several 65 GS wheels.  Bill yours looks like a  challenge, with the center section pulled up like it is. If you can find a replacement, go for it, if not it's a time and material repair job.

Thanks Glenn... I may have to give it a go. Probably clamp it back into shape and epoxy the heck out of it behind the horn bar. THEN refinsh the outside.   Bill
