A/C condenser info...
« on: January 13, 2019, 08:08:07 PM »
Hello,
I need a condenser, and mounts, for my 65 Skylark.
What is out there for options? I would like to use a new unit.
What is everyone using for a new unit, and brackets??

Thank you
David

Hi David,

Last year I was also looking for a new condenser as I'm retrofitting factory air into my restoration.  I found next to no one that sells the correct new condenser.  Ultimately, I found a supplier on the Internet that claimed to have the correct part.  I paid him with Paypal and ended up having to go through the Paypal resolution process before he actually shipped the part.  It looks good and has all the right fittings and mounting points, but I can't recommend him as a source based on my really bad experience.

I have a couple of used original condensers if you're interested.  I also have the correct mounting brackets for either a Skylark or GS, depending on what you need it for.  PM me if interested.
