I know a few 65 GS owners from Ohio, but I don't recognize this one.  Maybe Glenn or Kevin have an idea.

Vinnie you've never saw him because at the speeds you drive, he would have been in your rear view mirror.

Now just wait a minute!!! For some reason you think that I drive faster than the posted speed limit. I don't know why you continue to bring this up.  I have checked the white car using the GPS unit and it matches the speed of the car. So take that!!! 60+ years of driving with NO speeding tickets, can you match that? Now what do you have to say?

How reliable are the Buick speedometers? (Was: know this guy)

Dear Glenn, marxjunk, and mid-60s Buick owners who do want to know at what speed they are traveling,

. . . I have checked the white car using the GPS unit and it matches the speed of the car.
. . .

Not to take this thread too much on a detour, but having just gotten my own speedometer calibrated once more I'm curious.  How robust are the 1964-66 Buick A-body speedometers?  Has anybody had to have one repaired and how hard was that to do?

A curious mind would like to know!  :idea1:

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:
