Is it a low mileage engine that is just stuck from sitting?

The motor is stuck from sitting since 1980 with 33,000 original miles. Depending on what I need, it may or may not be available with the ALT and PS brackets. Open to offers, plus shipping etc...   ws

I would like to have the timing cover and rocker assemblies off of it if you decide you want to take some stuff apart.  The timing cover, rocker arms and pedestals are common with the 300 engine.

All I need are the aluminum rocker arms and pedestals, and the timing cover with oil pump cover.  If you will leave the water pump on it that would be good--the 7/16" headed bolts will likely break off in the cover if you try to take them out without patiently heating the cover with a torch around them!

Dist. valve covers and air cleaner all appear undamaged and original patina even with some AC decal left. No extra charge for the wing nut!    ws

Just FYI, the flywheel is also specific to the 225 V6.  It will bolt right on to a 300 or 350, but it is balanced completely different and you will get some deep vibrations in the engine in the 2500-3000 rpm range.  The V8 and V6 are both externally balanced, but the cavity in the flywheel where there is weight taken out is 180 deg different position between the two.   I hate to admit that I learned this thru experience in my younger days....

Probably have it off today if all goes well. The pump looks like it was replaced once...Ya want the rocker shafts, push rods, and springs too?   ws

Distributor, Valve covers & air cleaner.

Need the stud and wingnut too?   ws

I don't need the pushrods or the springs.  The low-mileage timing cover, rocker arms and pedestals are all I am looking for.
