Happy New Year Loren and EVERYONE....I guess it sort of snuck up,but the actual number 2019....got me thinking about the late Tim Wilson and his jet pack song.....not going to post a link here but worth a listen if you have a sense of humor.

   Looking forward to another great year on 65GS.com    The combined knowledge and expertise of our 64 to 66 A-body Buick's is world class. Our willingness to share it with fellow hobbyist is something that we should all be proud off.  :thumbsup:     And a special thanks to Loren for keeping the momentum !!

Dear Loren, Mark, Dan, Jim, Tony, and 65GS.com faithful,

By all means!  Happy New Year everybody!  :hello2:

In past years, I've tried to get my trusty wagon out for a drive on New Year's morning.  If the weather cooperates, California roads are mostly deserted and it is a very nice time to give a classic some winter exercise.  Alas, I've fallen behind from all the holiday activities and couldn't pull it off today.  However, I might have something of a substitute taken early this morning.  I had noticed that Venus is now a morning star and the crescent Moon was closing in for a rendezvous.  Today was the closest approach so I bought out my camera early this morning.  As I was taking my photos, I noticed a jetliner headed straight for Venus!  All I had to do is wait for it to enter my viewfinder!



Admittedly not car-related at all, but a neat photo to start 2019 with!

Hopefully in 2019 I’ll get the GS away from the wall and get something done on it.

Special thanks to Loren for keeping the site rolling . Also HOPE AND PRAY that we all get past the health issues members and family members from this site had this year . .
Its time for a handful of us to complete our restorations and all get together again .

Happy New Year to everyone from our family to yours!

I'm not big on New Years Resolutions but maybe it would help get some things done around here I've been wanting to do for some time.

My white hardtop has been asking for some new paint

If I start now hopefully I will be able to get some new on frame color by Oklahoma.

She deserves it.
