I was wondering if you guys would be interested in me posting about my GS/special project here from beginning to completion as it progresses? I like the vibe here better than other boards and would appreciate assistance with issues as they come up. I can use a third party hosting site for pics so as to not burn up bandwidth here.

Don't go to the trouble if that would be a real hassle for you.  On the other hand, if you get used to using a service, it is very handy and can be used to share photos all over the Internet - not just 65GS.com.
