Somebody on the V-8 Buick forum asked a question about this product and company: Enginestat:
http://enginestat.com/It is a package of sensors that send data to your Android smartphone to allow you to monitor the operating condition on your engine. It isn't yet available for iOS but that is in the works. The premise is that this provides a backup to your existing gauges should they fail and provides you with an alert should some engine parameter get out of a safe level. It is an interesting idea, but this product looks too half-baked to me at the moment. Still, it is probably worth keeping an eye on it. Perhaps it will mature someday into something more interesting.
