65 windlace suggestions wanted
« on: July 15, 2018, 12:18:59 PM »
I was installing my carpet and got to the upper rear interior panels as a next step in the interior project. I have bought most everything from Legendary because they had the right color of gray to match the carpet on the floor and the door panels. The problem is that the roll of new windlace does not look big or wide enough to fit the upper rear panels or the chrome caps on the convertible header end. Anybody know of a windlace that fits?

Funny thing. I found this place selling Buick pinch weld trim/windlace moudling.

I had them send me samples of the color.

It is the same width and depth as the original, although it does not have the "herring bone" pattern, it is close enough.

Never ordered wl from Kanter, but iit looks to be correct.

I had the same problem too when I got mine from the local supplier. The small stuff goes around the windshields, big stuff elsewhere.
