Saw the ad a couple days ago.Is it just me or does that look like a Special front bumper?I would have a very hard time giving him anywhere near the asking price. Maybe just for the hell of it I'll go look to see what all comes with it.I'd bet the battery is on the wrong side.    Tom

I can't make out any front bumper details, but at least it has the Skylark taillights. Grille appears to have the silver background paint, but again...hard to tell from the pics.
If it's a solid car with good chrome and interior it would be worth the price. Or it could be overpriced junk!
Tom, if you can, get the vin and maybe a pic of the data plate for the registry....

Well!I recieved a call from the sellers son today.He said his dad has had the car in storage for about 20yrs. Non original motor but he says it is a GS. I'm going to try and see it sometime this week as it's in a storage lot. I will let you guys know what i find.  Tom

Walt,I had a deal worked back in April.It snowed the weekend I was going to get the car,called the owner and told him I was postponing pick up till the snow let up.Now I can't remember if I was to call him or he was going to car me but in any case it never happened and I forgot all about the car.Fast forward to last week when I'm making a delivery in the area and I see the car still sitting in the same spot.I dig thru my desk when I get home and find the phone number I had for the owner.Problem is no one ever heard of him and they just got the new number.I'm still trying to make contact and will keep you posted on my progress.     Tom
