I know there are no reproductions of the 65 red bird front door panel Skylark emblems and all the ones I have are crazed pretty bad. My question is, has anyone had any luck restoring these pieces? Is there a way to separate the plastic from the metal without destroying it? I know these pieces are a problem to almost anyone restoring one of these cars, what did you do?
