OPGI's Spring Buick show - May 19, 2018

Dear mid-60s Buick caregivers on the "left coast," 

Out of the blue, Original Parts Group has announced a new Spring Summer cars show series:

There are 5 shows over the fair weather time of year.  There is one show for each GM division that OPGI supplies restoration parts for.  The shows are being held at the OPGI headquarters in Seal Beach, California.  There doesn't seem to be any particular rhyme or reason to the division order, but Buick is the first show on May 19th and registration is already open.  However, the shows are limited to 150 cars - first come first served.  It should be an interesting opportunity especially for those folks in Southern California.

Darn it!! I will be out of town that weekend in Colo Spgs attending my older son's college graduation. Wonder if he'd be upset if I missed his graduation to go to this show?  :-)

I'm swamped as usual but I just got a reminder email from Original Parts Group:

The all Buick show is this Saturday.  If any of you guys in the "Southland" aren't too far away from Seal Beach, it should be worth at least a quick visit.
