300 fuel pump to carb fuel line - steel?

Buick 300 V8

Was the OEM 300fuel line from the fuel pump to the carb rubber or steel?  I always thought it was rubber, but Inline Tube has a hard line in their catalog - and now I'm confused.

Hi,

I am pretty sure its rubber, I will have to take a look at my 4 door tomorrow, but the parts car I have has rubber on it

 I went through pictures of a couple of the Skylarks I have been involved with.  Those had a rubber line from the fuel pump to the carb.

It is rubber on all 300 engines.

A couple years ago I naively ordered that fuel line from Inline Tube.  It's now hanging on the wall of my garage...
