Dear mid-60s Buick owners who are weary of the weather,
After hurricane Harvey, everyone is a bit more nervous about hurricanes and if there is a hurricane to be nervous about - Irma seems to qualify. If you aren't into extreme weather, you might not have the National Hurricane Center in your bookmarks:
http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/At this moment you can find information on Irma at this link:
http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/#IrmaThe link I find most useful is the forecast cone that gives you some idea of where the hurricane is headed:
http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at1+shtml/214634.shtml?cone#contentsAs you can see, some of our 65GS regulars are clearly in the crosshairs of Irma and may be already evacuating. Evacuation seems unusually tricky since exiting Florida may still leave directly in the path of the exiting storm. The path has been waffling from West to East over the past few days meaning what seemed like a safe evacuation destination could instead still leave you in great peril.
All you folks in harm's way know that our prayers and thoughts are with you. If you can, do let us know how you are coping with the storm.
Sincerely,
Edouard
