Maybe it came from a Corvette Grand Sport? :icon_biggrin:

But yes, it looks like a '65 Buick GS trans.... correct case, 3 grooves on input shaft and 'GS' on tail housing. Only the side cover is wrong.
The Hurst shifter and Centerforce pressureplate/clutch make the $1250 package price a decent deal.

That does seem like a fair deal especially if the trans is in nice shape.
