Tony - That is a Colorado Cutthroat Trout. Native to the area and caught and released in a spring fed pond in the Wyoming Range. That young man is my nephews son and he hooked it. This particular area is on private ground but access is granted for youth catch and release. Not many folks know about it. Being an employee of the company that owns the property helps :laughing7:.

Thanks for sharing Dwaine!

Wyoming it one of the most beautiful states I’ve ever had the opportunity to visit.

Since it is so pretty, perhaps you could treat us to a few more photos - perhaps like once a season?  That might balance out the harshness of winter.

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

Dwaine. That is one beautiful trout ! I have never seen one like that before. Catch & release is the only way I fish because I really don't like eating fish plus it's better for the ecosystem of the Pond/lake/stream.  Thanks for sharing those great photos.

Nice mule deer behind the house this evening. Haven't been making any progress on the car so I thought at least I'd post these pics.

Dear Dwaine, Good Dr., and mid-60s Buick owners who occasionally get caught in some pun-ishment!

Nice mule deer behind the house this evening. Haven't been making any progress on the car so I thought at least I'd post these pics.
