Loren,
Great talking to you last night. Here is the core support piece I need.
Just PM me with your price and I'll drop a check in the mail.

Loren, Please note the picture when enlarged posts upside down and backwards. It is the drivers side.
I don't think I'll ever understand how to post pictures on this site.

Kevin,

I think you have the posting pictures thing down ok.  It looks like what I would expect and is top end up.

It is in rough shape, as you said.  I'll get pictures of the same area of the core support I have. It came off of the Special I have here, so there is no damage from battery acid. The passenger side is another story, sadly.

Kevin,

I looked at the core support from the Special.  Driver side has damage to it that I did not remember. I've attached pictures of it.
So it is no better than what you have.

Kevin,

Since Loren doesn't have what you need I think I do.  The core support from my parts car has damage on the passenger side, but the driver's side is good.  I'll snap a picture tomorrow and send it to you.

The driver's side is intact.  A bit of obligatory 50-year old rust, but no unintended deformation.

Thanks Chuck, it sure looks better than the one I have. I'll give you a call and make arrangements to stop by and pick it up. It will also allow me to check out your progress on the other red vert.
