Dear Black Wedge, and mid-60s Buick audiophiles,
Correct, its a Retrosound radio. I found the sound quality to be much better than Custom Autosound.
Shucks! More temptation! . . . .
I've been using Custom Autosound since 1995 and I like their products, but I'm really frustrated with the lack of built-in Bluetooth support. My trusty wagon was the first car in the house to have a Bluetooth stereo, but since then I've upgraded all the other cars and I'm spoiled by the improved support. It is really nice to know what track is playing for example.
Still, the Custom Autosound does look more like a 1965 Buick radio. I added the 1965
"BUICK" buttons and it really looks like it belongs there:
Thanks for the info.
Perhaps Retrosound will make a model with buttons that can be topped with the BUICK lettering or Custom Autosound will finally upgrade their own products. They really are overdue.
Cheers, Edouard
