Borg Warner 4 -speed...66 dated VIN 6K1378xx

I am posting this for my mopar friend...
It is a 12-65 dated Borg Warner from a 66 GS. I did not post entire VIN because I wanted to see if someone still has the car. This has been in his stash for years and I was surprised to see it. It is located near Flint,MI,and can be shipped if necessary. Original and untouched condition. Still has the KR code on the case. $1400 I cannot load the pics,so PM if interested.

I'm sure this has been asked elsewhere, but will this work in a '65 GS?

Yes, the 4-speed transmission is the same for 65 and 66 GS.  The shifter is different (66 mounts on the crossmember, 65 mounts on the transmission).  But the 66 transmission still has the mounting provisions on it for the 65 shifter.
