Dear mid-60s Buick fans on internal combustion engines and automobile air conditioning,
One of the indignities my trusty wagon must endure is that the region has a lot of Tesla fanatics. So when Tesla model-X SUV were finally delivered to customers they started to show up on our roads. Definitely nothing a self-respecting station wagon wants do deal with.
We are having a nasty heat wave for northern California. We had a high of 98? which is only 4 degrees short of the previous record set last September. This evening we were headed for a causal dinner when I spotted one of those recently purchased Tesla model-X vehicles. All the windows open were 1/2 way when the air temperature was still 95?.
The only two plausible explanations are either:
1.) The air conditioner was broken, or . . . .
2.) The owner was so low on the battery that he/she wasn't willing to run the air conditioner and risk being left stranded on such a hot day.
Either way, if you happen to own any Tesla stock . . . .
need I say more!
Cheers, Edouard
