You might have noticed the strange codes that get inserted when you click on things like the bold button. Those strange codes can simply be typed directly and sometimes you need to fix codes that get distorted by an accidental dragging of text. There is web site devoted to explaining how this codes work:

http://www.bbcode.org/playground.phpOdds are that most of this stuff will never be needed by most of you, but just in case someone has a special need. For example, you can create tables in postings and that might be handy from time to time.
So you can still cuss out those pesky programmers who inflicted this stuff on us, but at least you can cuss them out in an informed way!
